This is a good question! As a Therapeutic Coach I can be described as a wellness practitioner who will support you to make the progress and changes you want in your life to feel more fulfilled and at peace. Therapeutic coaching can be described as bridging the gap between your current way of life, and the life you want for yourself. For example, a better work/life balance, a more satisfying work life, elimination of fears and anxieties, improved communication skills with those around you, stronger relationships.
The focus of therapeutic coaching is change and action,by increasing self-awareness and leveraging your personal strengths to be able to take action for your future development. Counselling can be described as more reparative in nature, focusing on understanding and resolving issues and emotional trauma. It can be said Counsellors work on the "why" of a problem, and a Therapeutic Coach works on the "how" to get out of the problem.
I will support you to gain a fresh, new mindset on the problems you are facing, as well as supporting you to identify any negative patterns of behaviour which may be holding you back.
Together we will clarify the goals and/or changes you want, and I will support you to identify any obstacles holding you back or keeping you stuck. Together we will identify your strengths (you do have them!), and together we will create the strategies that will work for you.
Therapeutic coaching will give you the opportunity for unique, individual support to navigate any life changes you want to make. Changes to make a happier more meaningful life for you.
Fees:
£55 per session in person, online, telephone, instant messaging. Sessions are for 55 minutes.
